I am wondering if the reaction was so bad to the original trailers and screenings that they aren't departing from Iron Man territory and pointing more toward Dark Knight.
I don't want to say GL comics are mirthless, but Hal was never really a wise-cracking funster. Which is why I didn't get the Reynolds casting, or choice to pitch the original trailer as a Ryan Reynolds vehicle.

Well I certainly like that trailer more than the previous jokey ones they've put up.
