Ryan playing an almost Benderesque role as the naysayer made the others defend the movie.<br /><br />I've seen this movie enough in preteen years that at some point had most of the dialogue memorized. The high school social order stuff never really rang true for me, but I always took it as a deliberately stylized exaggeration anyway.
