Happy Birthday to the great Barbara Crampton.
For eagle-eyed readers of the site here, we've been on a Crampton-aissance for about a year and a half, watching work newer and older.
This year marked the 40th Anniversary of Re-Animator, and she was on the road promoting the 4K release of the movie. She and Jeffrey Combs came to Austin where she and Combs answered questions and hosted a screening of the film. She also hosted the Fangoria Chainsaw Awards and participated in a fun Christmas video this year.
On social media, Crampton made folks aware of her upcoming work, and she's a fun follow in any case.
Here's to another banger year for Crampton! And maybe my foot won't be broken next time she comes back for a horror-movie con.
Anyway - we'll be covering more Barbara Crampton movies and whatever she gets up to.
