I listened to this a while back, but I have been meaning to say that I was surprised that, for all the love showered on Lance Guest, there was no mention of his starring turn in the career-ending film, Jaws: The Revenge. (Only Michael Caine managed to survive that movie, but he missed accepting his first Oscar because he was working on it.) Aside from Halloween II, Jaws IV is the only Lance Guest movie I've seen, but I also would love to see him back on screen.

I'll be honest with you, no one has ever told me it was a good idea to watch Jaws 4. I remember when it came out and the world basically said "thanks, but no thanks". But now may be the time! He was in "Late Phases" that Simon and I watched last October.

It's awful, but I enjoy that. If you need a primer and would like to read Roger Ebert's one-star review of it, here it is: https://www.rogerebert.com/reviews/jaws-the-revenge-1987

There are some spoilers, if that's remotely important to you for a movie this bad.

You know what? I am going to watch it. I like Michael Caine. I have watched innumerable shark movies. This movie may be the perfect way to slide into the worst part of summer. And I feel like I owe the franchise at least one look-see at this installment.
