So I don't need to tell you guys Ghostbusters is awesome

This evening I went to go and see Ghostbusters at the Alamo with Jamie and my pal Kevin.

It was a lot of fun seeing it on the big screen for the first time since I was a kid, and seeing with a crowd that all wanted to see it again.  And it was most definitely an "again" scenario.

The crowd was laughing more at the small moments than the go-to laughs, like most of us who've seen that movie a couple of dozen times.

And the movie does have the greatest climactic battle between good and evil ever caught on film

the greatest shot in any movie, ever
Its a Friday.  Ya'll have a good one.

I was in Montreal this past weekend and it was playing at the theater. Sadly, I stayed with my family and did not slip off for a couple of hours. Hmmm...I was 10 when I first saw it, I wonder if Anna can take it at 7?

At the Alamo?! Wow! I didn't know it was going to be shown there. Or is that the Alamo Drafthouse? If it was at the Alamo I would have loved to have seen it there. It's supposed to be shown again for the next couple of Thursdays. I looked up the local movie theater websites but didn't see it listed. Do you know if it will be playing in San Antonio?

Do you mean the Alamo in San Antonio? If so, will it be screened there again? The movie is supposed to be playing for a couple more Thursdays around the country. It would be very cool to see it there.

Hi Alberto!

I was referring to The Alamo S. Lamar in Austin, part of the Alamo chain of theaters. But it might be showing this Thursday and next Thursday in your area. I recommend checking your local listings as the studio is really enjoying getting this movie back out to those of us who love it.
